Whoa time can fly by! I thought life was moving fast because of working 40 hours a week... Apparently, we can easily fill up our
calendars even when "work" is removed. Six more days until we say our farewells and step onto the plane that will officially start the next chapter of our lives!
Nobody warned me how much planning goes into moving across the country. Maybe I was supposed to know this, but the last month has been all about bank accounts, phone accounts, camper van searches, document finding, last minute amazon purchases, copy making, clothes packing and repacking, and so much more! Not to mention everything that goes into selling a house and moving! Doing the millennial thing and living in my parents basement has not been all bad... It has been nice to have some quality time with them and to reduce some responsibility as we plan!
In the midst of all this planning has been lots of visits with family and friends. (which is definitely my favorite part!) We took an 8 day trip to visit our adorable nieces, nephews, and siblings. We traveled from Cannon Falls, to the Cities, to Michigan and back home again.
Minus the stomach flu I picked up on the return trip and the snowstorm we found in Wisconsin/Minneapolis the trip was wonderful! We sure are going to miss those kiddos (and siblings too of course).
We are nearly ready for take off and can't wait to be taking in the summer sunshine again and to see what Auckland has in store for us! We would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for smooth and safe travels next Wednesday!
Some fun pictures from our quality time with our nieces and nephews. We love them so much and had such a great time visiting them this month!
thoughts and prayers will be with you for safe travels, health and awesomeness as you embark on this exciting journey. We will be following your travels via internet. am excited to be apart of your journey. God bless.
